2.YDF-RTC Need-Based Scholarship (2021)

The Bhutan Youth Development Fund (YDF) and Royal Thimphu College (RTC) jointly provide ONE FULL SCHOLARSHIP under the YDF-RTC Need-Based Scholarship Programme. The scholarship will cover all tuition and boarding costs for 3 years.

 

 

Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate in English + best 3 subjects can apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be 22 years or younger and should check the program-wise eligibility criteria and register online for admission, and then submit the YDF-RTC Scholarship Application Form along with the Need-Based Scholarship Financial Eligibility Form in hard copy or via email to admission@rtc.bt. The forms can be downloaded from the RTC or YDF websites or can be collected from the RTC city office at room #56, Chang Lam Plaza, Thimphu, or the RTC admission office at Ngabiphu.

The completed application form and the need-based scholarship financial eligibility form should be submitted via email to admission@rtc.bt. Short-listed candidates will be announced on our websites and will be called for an interview.

The deadline for submission is June 14, 2021, at noon.

3.YDF- UWC Scholarships (2021)

The Bhutan Youth Development Fund is pleased to announce the availability of SIX YDF-UWC (United World College) Scholarships for Pre-University (Class XI & Class XII) in the following Colleges:

Eligibility criteria

The applicant should have passed class X with a minimum of 75% being the aggregate of English and best four subjects. Interested candidates may apply to YDF, Nazhoen Pelri Complex latest by 3rd May 2021 with the following documents:

  2. 2 passport sized photographs
  3. Reference letters (Recommendation from Head of school)
  4. Merit certificates
  5. Security clearance 
  6. CID copy

4.YDF- BracU Scholarship (2020)

 

10 scholarships available for undergraduate (8 slots) and postgraduate (2 slots) at the Brac University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Notice: For the 2020 intake, the classes are scheduled from 5th October 2020 onwards. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the classes will be online, however, if the situation improves, the students can join BracU from the spring semester in January 2021.
